PROGRESS TEST - SPEAKING 1 (Test 1)
You are taking the mid term oral test for Speaking 1. You have about 6 minutes in total for the test. You have NO time for preparation before speaking.
First, you will have ONE minute to introduce yourself using the following script (1 minutes):
- Good morning/afternoon. - My full name is … . I am from……
- I am the student of class …. . My student ID number is …. .
- Today is ...... (19th August 2021).
- The test takes place at …. (centre).
Now, please begin with the first part of the test.
Task 1: Pronunciation (1-2 minutes)
Try to apply appropriate intonation to read out loud the sentences below. Pay attention to intonation and word stress, word pronunciation.

1. Would you like juice or soda?

Task 2: Situations (3 minutes)
You now have ONE minute to read the task carefully and another TWO minuts to do the task as you are instructed to.
Your friend does not know how to use the washing machine. Use instruction phrases to guide him/her. Use the provided information for your instruction:
