You have a big amount of money. What are you going to do with it? Why?

·  Put in the bank and earn little interest each month.

·  Invest in stock market.

·  Invest in education for homeless children.

 

If I have a big amount of money, I will invest in the stock market. There are several reasons why I invest in the stock market. Firstly, the potential return compared to alternatives such as bank certificates of deposit, or gold. For example, the average stock market return has been about 10% annually since 1926; long-term government bonds have returned 5% to 6% annually during the same period. Secondly, the ability to protect your wealth from inflation. Stock market's returns often significantly outpace the rate of inflation. It's important to know that there are risks when investing in the stock market. Like any investment, it helps to understand the risk/return relationship and your own tolerance for risk.
